About Us

We're April’s Sunrise Tap, and we've been a restaurant and bar here in Des Moines, IA, since 1990. We believe in providing a friendly environment for our neighborhood bar, complete with games, fun, happy hour, sandwiches and cocktails. We started this business after years of experience working in the bar and restaurant industry and jumping at the opportunity when it presented it's self. We're looking forward to growing our business to continue to serve Des Moines and the surrounding areas. We'd like to personally invite you to stop by, and try one of our roast beef sandwiches, delicious burgers or amazing cocktails, and stay for a game, a night of Karaoke or just to spend an evening chatting with friends.
